Ecofy is growing rapidly and we are looking for highly entrepreneurial and motivated applicants for sales, internship, and support roles. The ideal candidate is organized, enthusiastic, proactive and able to see opportunities in obstacles.

Intern candidates should be able to commit no less than 15-25 hours per week, although there is room for more flexible hours/duration and off-site opportunities. Interns would have the opportunity to attend networking and mastermind events, as well as opportunities to allow you to network with some of the top professionals, non-profits, impact organizations and B-corps in the Greater Washington, D.C. area.
Successful interns will be strongly considered for open full-time positions after graduation or the internship period. To make the most of your internship, we have created a performance-based bonus program and some interns may qualify for paid internships.
We are looking for interns to support the following areas: Operations, Social Media, Marketing, Research, Business Development, Sales, Accounting, Finance, Data Analysis (Big Data/Smart Data), Artificial Intelligence, IT/Infrastructure and Events. Our interns will be able to apply their academics to real world situations as well as gain exposure to career opportunities and create relationships with companies that fit with their career interest. Most positions available are UNPAID and for ACADEMIC CREDIT ONLY. Several positions have performance-based pay available as well as stipend.

Intern Responsibilities
- Develop a clear understanding of Impact and LOHAS (Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability) organizations and legal cannabis industries by conducting and supporting various research on multiple platforms
- Work with the team supporting Ecofy brand and certified partner solutions.
- Evaluate the market opportunities to produce content that is relevant for each market, and member by analyzing the state of different industries
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive marketing, operations, data or business development plans
- Work with data from our CRM system and other digital channels to analyze performance of multi-channel marketing
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Google Suite
- Familiarity with Project management tools; Slack and Asana a plus
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Work independently as well as in a team
- Solid interpersonal skills
- Social media and Google Analytics understanding
- Duration of Internship: at least 3-4 months
- Must commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week (240 total hours preferred for a greater learning experience)
- Effective organizational skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and phone skills
- Love of learning and pride in resourcefulness – if you don’t know how to do something, you figure it out or you know who to ask

This is a HUNTER role. The right person converts a blend of online and DMV businesses and individuals to our virtual communications platform and our suite of services to accelerate growth and build a tribe! They use a variety of sales techniques, their adaptability and their competitive nature for consistently winning business.

Sales Executives Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop a clear understanding of Impact and LOHAS (Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability) organizations and legal cannabis industries by conducting and supporting various research on multiple platforms
- Close Sales of Memberships (Online and Physical) and Professional Services within the LOHAS and legal cannabis industries.
- Serve as reliable source for accessing high quality customer experience and services for our customers.
- Manages internal communication while projecting the company brand as a trusted and reliable partner.
- Be the premier “GO TO” source in the region through cultivating strong business relationships with existing and target customers.
- Increase sales by expanding personal knowledge of all lines and products available as resources.
- Establishes sales calls via phone, LinkedIn, IG, e-mail, and in-person with existing and target customers.
- Conveys requests for proposals via e-mail, follows up on quotes and closes sales.
- Sets up scheduled tours and member events promoted within our company and coordinates logistics for tandem customer-member interface.
- Educates customers through social media, presentations, events, educational programs including weekly standardized programs.
